UFC 264: MCGREGOR VS. POIRIER III SELLS OUT IN 'SECONDS'

According to Dana White, July 10th's UFC 264 sold out "in seconds" Friday, ensuring a sold-out crowd of nearly 21,000 for the trilogy fight between former two-division champion Conor McGregor and former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier.

This is the third US event UFC has opened up to fans with the previous two (April 24th's UFC 261 in Jacksonville, Florida, and May 15th's UFC 262 in Houston, Texas) both selling out in a few minutes.

While the final attendance won't be known until that night, it will break the previous record set for the T-Mobile Arena, surpassing UFC 229 (McGregor vs. lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov) which had 20,034 fans.

The question is what the final gate number will be. The aforementioned UFC 229 brought in $ 17.2 million, second best in company history behind UFC 205 (McGregor vs. lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez) which did $ 17.7 million for the company's first-ever visit to Madison Square Garden in New York City.

This will be the UFC's first show back in Las Vegas with fans since UFC 248 on March 7th, 2020.
